Recent news reports suggest that falsified results documents for the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) are available on the market.
Examinees in Japan receive a Certificate of Japanese-Language Proficiency / Score Report and a JLPT Certificate of Result and Scores issued by the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services. Examinees outside Japan receive a Certificate of Japanese-Language Proficiency and a JLPT Certificate of Result and Scores issued by The Japan Foundation.
The test organizers are prepared to confirm whether results documents are authentic, or whether a holder of results documents has taken and passed the level indicated.
